I hope this isn't true, the games won't do any better on the HD consoles and 90% of their Wii efforts haven't even been released in North America yet. And the HD consoles already have enough exclusives, the Wii needs some.

Whatever happened to your belief that you should be able to buy any console (or just 1 console was it) and enjoy yourself?
Seems like fewer exclusives means that more gamers will have the chance to enjoy great games.

So far the multiplatform trend has resulted in less than desireable results for the industry in terms of creativity and game design.
Also, I'm not sure where you got this belief that I believed such things.
