This worked up? I am stating the facts of the situation. It probably doesn't help that I have actually worked with rape victims for a few years on and off while going through college. I am not attacking you for making jokes at all. That is Dtewi. I am attacking you because you are saying something as stupid as rape not being as bad for men. Go deal with the fallout of it afterwards I a guarantee you will change your tune. Rape is rape. It is a devastating experience for just about everyone who goes through it. The reason men are seen as not being emotionally affected is because it is seen as more shameful for them to admit to it.

You want to joke about a serious situation, well go for it. Everyone copes or deals with life in their own way. I am personally a huge fan of making light of serious situations. I just won't sit back and watch people make patently false claims like date rape isn't that bad, or raping a guy can't cause any physical trauma. You really need to read my posts a little closer before you try and go off on me. Half of what you said is non-sense because it has nothing to do with anything I have posted.

I didn't say date rape wasn't bad. But if it offends you that I joke about this, then I'm sorry, because it wasn't my intention to offend anyone. I just wanted to have a laugh here and the thread was one with a joke connotation. I'm telling this again, I'm not making fun of the people, but of the situation. I know many men could suffer from a rape by a woman, but the chances are too low and many times it won't even be considered rape. For those cases where the damage (emotional and physical) is severe, then of course I would be making a side note on top of the joke.
