most games that are developed on 1 HD platform need between 300k to 500k to break even (sometimes less for squeals that are using the same engine Gears 2 cost only 10 mil)
and if %80 of the games are just loses then this industry would have crashed years ago.

Read the article. 20% of games are profitable, 80% break even OR lose money.
On the 360, the middle 50% of games only sell between 75,000 and 250,000 units. That is well below your break even numbers.
