I have been doing a lot of thinking as to why I don't like the Wii. I think I have finally realized what the problem is. It may be the same for many PS3/X360 gamers. It's the fact that the Wii is not a new generation of consoles. They took the GameCube and developed a new control scheme. It's the same reason PS3/X360 gamers rarely or never play the PS2/XBOX. How many people do you know that still play Halo 2 or SOCOM 3? Both amazing games for the previous generation that are just old. It's just annoying to see developers make good games that are crap when compared to the HD consoles. I, personally, just don't pay attention. I follow Wii games as closely as I follow PS2 games. I'll get the new Mario and Zelda games, but when it comes to anything not made by Nintendo, I want to play on a current genration system. My guess is the people complaining just want the game and do not want to play on an old system.

You'd be surprised by how many people still play older games today.

Also, contrary to popular belief, the better iterations of such games were better the generation before or even in the one preceeding the last one. SF3 is better than 4, GTA3 was better than 4, DMC2 was better than 4, OoT was better than TP, MGS1 was better than 4 and RE4 was better than 5, the list goes on.

Bet between Slimbeast and Arius Dion about Wii sales 2009:

If the Wii sells less than 20 million in 2009 (as defined by VGC sales between week ending 3d Jan 2009 to week ending 4th Jan 2010) Slimebeast wins and get to control Arius Dion's sig for 1 month.

If the Wii sells more than 20 million in 2009 (as defined above) Arius Dion wins and gets to control Slimebeast's sig for 1 month.
