| Steroid said: @Bias http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marketing_for_Halo_3 Halo 3 had a 40 million marketing campaign. Don't know where you pulled that random blog from but obviously you did some digging to find it. So here's the misconception: That 360 is flop proof. *Looks at Too Human and Ninja Blade* Now if I said Little Big Planet had sold more then double what LO sold that would be a fact. Nobody is taking anything away from Gears or Halo but trying to rag on PS3 exclusives that have "only" sold 2 million? There are exclusive games on all 3 consoles that have sold much less. |
The point is that the biggest selling PS3 exclusives have sold MUCH less than the biggest selling exclusive games on every other console(except maybe the PSP).
That could change with GT...but bro, what do you have, MGS4? Halo 3 sold 10 million units. The PS3 has nothing near that level so far, in exclusive games. 4m copies is a flop when it comes to big 360 exclusives, but it's the best the PS3 has done so far.
I mean, Fable 2, a tier 2 AA exclusive 360 game, can keep up and pass most anything on the PS3.
It's funny that you have to resort to a jrpg to find something to flame the 360 on, when it comes to software sales. At least the 360 has jrpgs. You have nothing on the PS3 to compare it to, but strategy games.
Isn't it amazing that 3 years later, the PS3 still doesn't have a single jrpg worth talking about, that isn't a strategy game? Vesperia will change all that, but last gen, the PS3 was jrpg king. Kinda sad, really.
I don't need your console war.
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor.
You're power hungry, spinnin' stories, and bein' graphics whores.
I don't need your console war.
NO NO, NO NO NO.
