We're not talking a huge difference, it's 0.32 million (ToV) versus 0.37 million (ToS2).  

If anything that reflects poorly on ToS2 as it had a 1+ million fanbase from the original game to tap into while Vesperia was basically a new IP within the Tales franchise.

Ohhh come on!! Are you kiding me?? One is a main Tales of title... the other a low budget spin off made by kids recently arrived from university... Everybody knows that. A new IP... I never thought hearing this, honestly...

Any low budget/small project on the Wii bombs... any multi million RPG on PS360 does well... niche games only exists on PS360...
