Well since it got pushed back in Europe to July, I'm gonna have to say 1st week sales in Americas will be about 75k-80k max... I can't see this game breaking 100k first week only because the only people who are really anticipating it are the hardcore internet gaming crowd who have been following it since it was unveiled on IGN over a year ago.

Unfortunately, as seen by sales of many other internet hyped and promoted 3rd party Wii titles like Zack and Wiki, No More Heroes, and Madworld, this is not nearly enough to garner big sales... the only way to do that is to breakthrough to the casual/mainstream Wii audience. Reggie said that they are trying to go after the "Halo" crowd and not ignore them like everyone thinks they are doing... well, there's no better way to go after that sort of crowd than with a game like The Conduit!

If the game turns out to have great online MP, then word of mouth will help it out and it'll have some legs at least through the summer since there's virtually no major online MP games being released for the Wii in the near future besides this game.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.
