If you want to boast about 3rd party success you should point out the games people really love on the Wii (based on sales). The sales of the games you mentioned are modest/poor compared to the numbers of those mega hits! The upcoming titles you mentioned... aren't exactly big releases. Silent Hill hasn't been a big seller in years. Overlord didn't set the charts on fire. The FF coming to the Wii isn't the one people care about. The Tales of franchise isn't that big and JRPG sales have seen a huge decline in sales compared to the past. The rest of the games you mentioned will fade into obscurity.

I'm not denying major developers will continue to support the Wii. The quality of the titles however... aren't quite at par with the HD consoles.

That made me laugh.  JRPGs dont sell people don't care anymore. People want this game (FFXIII). What kind of game is it?  A JRPG!

You're putting words in my mouth. I did say JRPGs have had a decline in sales. I never said they "dont sell people don't care anymore."

None of the JRPGs on the PS3 and 360 have cracked a million and some of those were big releases. The Wii JRPGs have had abysmal sales with exception to Pokemon. FF and Pokemon are still going strong but the genre as a whole appears to be struggling outside of the DS.

It's more of the fact that Japan has stopped buying these series, hell a console game has yet to crack a million there, the closest thing is MGS4, which sold about as well as the previous MGS in japan but is usually outdone by JRPGs.

Usually all of those games would be in the millions and make up a large percent of world wide sales, pokemon btw was outsold by DQ Swords. 

My main point is that you said the genre is doing poorly and then the next sentence stating people want a game in that genre which is funny to me, the core/internet gamers want it here in the west, but that's only a small percent of the usual sales of those games, so unless Japan gets out of it's funk even the heavy hitters might do "poorly".  You stated one thing and then went back on it by saying everyone is looking forward to ____ game which might do "poorly" as well and I just find it funny is all
