I am talking about HD consoles and the battle for second place. SONY vs MS. In the beginning with the PS2. SONY had dominance in every region. Then when the PS3 released they lost NA. Now they are losing Europe, lost Others and not even dominating Japan

Yes, but that has alot more to do with the 360 outperforming the Xbox rather than the PS3 doing poorly.

It shows at this point in time PS2 had more than 10Million in sales. This ratio is not only due to the 360 doing much better but the PS3 doing much worse. The PS3 is absolutely horrible compared to the PS2 and there no way to spin this

Alright enough, you are the one spinning this into a "PS3 is still selling like $hit compared to last generation's PS2 at the same time frame" to avoid the fact that despite being the pirce of a DS the XBOX 360 cannot outsell a console that $400 in Japan. Once the PS3 is $300(30,000 yen) and GRAN TURISMO 5 is out in japan, we will see whether or not the PS3 can close the gap with the ps2. Right now its not a fair comparison.
