1. It's fine.
2. Sure.
3. I rarely use the 'rich text' part of the editor, but don't mind it. It doesn't seem to have slowed that many people down. (Kwaad taught me how to spell check in it since FF doesn't automatically do it for some reason.)
4. Hate the new 'popularity' news system.
5. Impressions may work better since it's hard to get people to vote.
6. I found the system to post a news story to be a bit confusing. The first time I used it, I didn't know that it was a two step process of creating a title and short description followed by a second form to enter the actual story and create the link to the source. Can you put everything in one form or provide some instructions for users who haven't posted a news story before?
Numbers are like people. Torture them enough and you can get them to say anything you want.
