I agree- most games' patchers are pretty stupid. They can't even hold a conversation without spewing numbers and green bars.
EDIT: You seem to have a very vocal patcher! What game did you find him in? I'd like to have a conversation with him, even if his ideas are almost as ridiculous as that Pachter fellow's.
