Strategically its a very wise decision, since all Wii's will probably be sold during November and December anyway. Now they have one of the Big 3 left for after the holiday craze. Together with MK that's a great Q1 line-up already.
For the fans it's a dissapointment for sure. But well, there are enough great games left to buy anyway.
