I believe HAL is doing Kirby Wii and who knows what else (Smash Brothers DS?).
And Nintendo did NOT release a new game every month on the GameCube, lol, your memory is some what hazy if you think that was the case.
Nintendo also announced yesterday that there's a program coming out called Nintendo DS Classroom for Japan which is basically Brain Training taken to the next level:
