"Fanboyism" has been around for thousands of years. It comes down to, "I'm right and you are wrong." I personally don't see the point. I like what I like and I don't care what everyone else thinks. However, most people want to "fit in." Therefore, most people see a crowd bashing people, they will either defend or "join the crowd" and attack.
I have moved and do not have the internet at home, yet.
