Is the 360 to blame for the quick release of L4D 2?

This is exactly why I said they'd be splitting the population. It doesn't make sense to support 2 games that are practically the same game.

could they not make it to where l4d1 is built into l4d2.  patch the game so it searches both copies, honestly I think this might even be a case for download at launch game where they could update the past title and link the two togeather in terms of searching for a game.

 

or as you claim it could split the community ... but i see both vegas and vegas 2 doing well and cod4 and cod waw doing well for matches so i doubt it will be a problem
