Will Sony's PS3 follow in the footsteps of Sega's Dreamcast?

Oh, come on!

I understood these threads in early 2007- PS3 was failing

I understood these threads in holiday 2008- 360 was owning PS3

So, when the weekly difference is rarely above 10k units, WHAT IS THE NEED to make this thread for the 5 billionth time?!

Are we going to go through cycles and have these every six months? Even if the PS3 starts outselling the 360? Or will we then replace "Sony" with "Microsoft" and "PS3" with "360", and post the same thread? We've suffered this for nearly a year, it's your turn!

EDIT: By the way, the 360 avatar is not a good idea when making this type of thread. Or at all, really.
