Not sure on the shipment, but it seems perfect. 50% first day meets demand and there's plenty left over. And I think we need to cut out the Muramasa supply constraint stuff. It isn't any more and the sales did not jump up.

You're seeing it the wrong way. If you had more shipped, it would have more visibility, or do you think the wide public buys from the internet. And if let the novelty and hype get away, you're loosing sales.

Why do you think Ben10 and whatever sales? Good exposure. This doesn't have the same appeal, but you can be sure that, if you shiped arround 50-60k, you would have the same percentage sold first day (-2-3%, perhaps). And it would sell everything, you can be sure of that. The same way Muramasa and Valkyria Chronicles continue ;)

Well, I guess your argument holds well, because if they ship more, stores will be forced to advertise it more in order to get the games off the shelves. I doubt if they shipped 60k it would have 30k though. This situations are always interesting, but Marvelous doesn't choose how many copies it ships. Retailers do.

P.S. Valkyria Chronicles' resurgence has to do with two things.

1. The brand new anime that's being shown in Japan.
2. The cheaper re-release that came out a week before the anime began airing.
