You have to ask yourself, "Why don't I just move my PC to the living room?". It's just so easy to move your PC into the living room and make it act as a Home Theater PC, and you won't need to waste additional money on another console. And yes, Splinter Cell Conviction and AC2 are coming to PC. I don't understand why people complain about PCs not letting you to sit on the couch, when the current trend is the reverse due to the huge rise of laptops. |
Bro..if you move your PC into the living room then you won't have a PC in the back room. How the hell am I supposed to watch porn in the living room?
Also, my PC costs like 2,000 dollars. You think I'm gonna let mom touch it, even to put in a Blu-Ray?
Next, what am I supposed to play on my computer? All the good games have securom. Also, all the exclusive games are on consoles now. There is no first party for the computer.
Finally, I like to play games on a controller, but I can't exactly boot games up without my mouse and keyboard. It's unacceptable to have to change input methods. Also, do I have to buy a wireless mouse and keyboard?
...but wait, there's more. Do I expect everyone to have a 1000 dollar PC? They need one if they want to play HD games the way they are meant to be played. Ever try maxing out even old PC HD games with a duel core CPU? Bottleneck like a mug. Can't upgrade a CPU. In fact, most people can't upgrade a PC.
That said, yeah, it is possible to move my PC into the living room. Landing on the moon is also possible, but it is a hell of a lot more trouble than doing absolutely nothing, which is what a console requires. Also a hell of a lot more expensive, and requires a hell of a lot more training, and infinite knowledge.
I don't need your console war.
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor.
You're power hungry, spinnin' stories, and bein' graphics whores.
I don't need your console war.
NO NO, NO NO NO.
