I dont hate change, i applaued it. Lets put it this way. We saw Miyamoto-san a hundred times in previous E3s play games like Killzone 2 and Gears of War. He knows what his fellow developers are doing. He chose not going through that path. Instead, he creates his own path, and now his fellow developers follow him, as we saw in the conferences of Sony and Microsoft. I Guess what i am trying to say here is that Miyamoto-san as a developer, he has his way or doing things, and i am glad with his work. I dont need a pregnant Zelda or Peach, or whatever. If that what you can do in Fable, the good for that game. |
You say that but the path he goes down hasn't changed much since the NES days. Technology and control mechanism has changed, hence changing the experience but the idea behind the experience hasn't changed.
I am not saying he needs to change Zelda, Mario or anything...but it would be nice to see his take on a sandbox environment.
