I believe there's a specific correlation here to be seen, PS3/360 is marketed to the teens and young males, the internet top users are this segment, the "journalists" not only usually fit into that category they write to that category, and the Wii is marketed to everyone, when you lack games that appeal to the same group of internet users, PS3/360 users, and "journalists" they will reject it.

On a more opinion level, I love all the consoles, but the Wii has by far been one of my favorite systems of all time, it's not the glory days of SNES and Genesis to me, but man I haven't felt like going into a store picking out a random game and it ends up being awesome since then and I can do that with Wii, it's easy to spot the crap much like was with the SNES, it's much harder to differentiate the crap on PS3 for me though, you look at a shooter, it could look awesome, you get home and it's total fail :\
