From a business P.O.V. they showed three games that probably will end up in the top 15 top-selling video games of all time: Wii Sports Resort, New Super Mario Wii, and Wii Fit Plus (all three of those games will outsell last gen's top selling game, GTA San Andreas most likely).
They showed Metroid Other M and Super Mario Galaxy 2 for the more core players. What sucked about Nintendo's show was the presentation. The crowd was too nervous (after last year I think there was more relief than joy when a good game was shown) and Cammie is not very good at running these kinds of events.
Besides with SMG2 ... I think the game looks too much like SMG1 right now ... the extra months of development could really give them time to add in some crazier kinds of ideas and levels and really make that baby cook thanks to NSMB Wii. This isn't neccessarily a bit thing in the long run.
