Um... It's not the political system, it's the retailers themselves. They have yet to bring their prices into line with what it costs them. And because of it Many Canadians are going south to the U.S. to shop now. But it won't last long. Canadian retailers are going to be forced to adjust their prices. It'll start in areas near the border but will slowly encompass everything. Of course there will allways be discrepencies with the United States, but nothing like what we're seeing now.
