Not really. It would be best if it was multiplat (which I'm 99% sure it is), but if it was PS3 exclusive, the people who had been fans of MGS would be able to play it. You can't do a simple userbase calculation because MGS:R would sell less on 360 than PS3, and thus fewer people would enjoy it.
The reason I didn't want MGS4 to be multiplat was because Kojima had said quite clearly on several occasions that MGS4 was never going to the 360. He would be going back on his word, and I hate it when developers do that. I'm fine with future MGS games being multiplat, more people get to play them, Kojima gets more money. As long as I can play it on my PS3, and it's not gimped because of multiplat development, I'm happy. In fact, Kojima said future MGS games would (probably) be multiplat around a year ago.
