HD gamers have been starved for a good hack and slash action game for a while. DMC4 was a while ago, Ninja Gaiden II came and went, we're still waitiing for GoWIII, so there was definitely a market for it.

Then why Ninja Gaiden sold so few???

It didn't sell terribly. It almost hit a million. Will you be able to say that about Madworld a year after it comes out?

2. Ninja Gaiden is a known and popular IP that dates all the way back to the NES.
