You can't even click in the sig, do Ctrl+A and wipe everything out?
Hey, here's an idea. I don't know about you, but for me when the page is loading it shows raw HTML in the text box instead of the finished product. You might be able to get down there and wipe it out before the page finishes loading and it becomes unkillable.
