Most of the HD console's big games are sequels... =/ They don't come out with new ideas? They've made several new IPs for Wii and DS. In a thread earlier you said the only new IPs they made are the Wii series...yet they've made Disaster, Captain Rainbow, Meteos, Elite Beat Agents, Nintendogs, Brain Age, Magical Starsign among some.

First off, please dont call the PS3 and 360 "hd consoles" because they are far more than just "HD" consoles.. why not call them "online consoles" as well? Sure the wii does online but does it do it as good as PS360? Sure the wii does graphics, but does it do it as good as the PS360? Anyhow that is an entire argument in itself, has nothing to do with the discussion.

 

The  reason I quoted was because most of sony's first party ip so far this generation for the Playstation 3 have been full of new ip, from Uncharted, heavenly sword, to little big planet and MAG. Sony have tons of new ip for the PS3. As for microsoft, bioshock, Mass effect, Alan wake, are they sequels or new ip?
