...uh what makes you think billions will be needed to convert? the fact is the faster sony makes the slim the faster they start making money. Example Sony brings slim out in July for 399 and drops the thick one by 50 dollars to clear stock. It automatically will cause a slight demand with new modle and price reduction. on top of it all Sony would profit off every slim sold. Oct rolls around and Slim drops to 299. From July to Oct sony was selling at a profit now they sell at even and have their games rake in profit the healthy sony we all love and know is back. also how do you know the money they lost isnt already going to R&D For the slim? Also Sony said they'll lose 1bil not SCEI. SCEI could very well become profitable and Sony can still lose money
