i don't even see how gamepad could even be categorized with the mouse or wiimote... the mechanism was only developed precisely because you don't have a pointing device. over the years the mechanism has been refined and people have gotten used to them...
comparing the mouse and wiimote makes sense. comparing those to a mapping mechanism? c'mon.
gamepad has come a long way, and is impressive given the limitations, and that's the best thing i can say about it.
the Wii is an epidemic.
