Why the PS3 will not last long, let alone 10 years.

     The reason the Wii will only sell a one hundred million copies.  First off, its just not going to be powerful enough to run games like many of the later generational hd games that we will see coming to the other consoles.  Secondly, the blue ocean crowd just aren't going to be that interested in buying Wii Sports 3 or Wii Fit 3, there will be a reaction against thosetypes of  games when the blue ocean folks begin to think we've alredy got one or two of these I don't want to buy another.  3rd more competitive games coming to PS3 from the likes of Square and Kojima in the coming years.  There really won't be any comparison between Wii rpgs and HD rps as far as looks go.  Fourth, it looks like they are missing out on many Western games like Fallout 3 and Modern Warfare 2 (and the versions they do get of these games are almost always considered to be the inferior ones).

     Wii sales are already slowing down.  They were supposed to have sold 50 million consoles by the end of March and instead its going to take them until the end of May to do so.  And, for most of this year their sales have been pathetic for the leading console in Japan.

     By this point in the PS2's lifespan, it had AAA titles coming from almost all directions of the gaming world while they are much harder to spot on Wii right now.

Have you even checked your facts to make sure they're right before you go claiming something, like going to the front page of this site to see the Wii has already sold 50 million units.

Or checked the forums plus many sites that know Modern Warfare 2 is coming to the Wii it'll just be announced at E3 like W@W was last year which was after the HD versions were announced.

At this point in Wii's lifespan it has pumped out way more good software the "AAA" thing is just bullshit to validate fanboy arguments about "my console is better then your console"  I could go dig up the list of games that Nintendo by themselves have put out there, or how Wii's list of million sellers are growing faster then the PS2, etc.  But that seems like a lot of work to respond to you when you can't even fact check the front page :

     How have the Wii versions of the cod games sold in comparison to the 360 and PS3 versions?  How high have review scores for the Wii versions been in comparison to the PS3 and 360 versions?

     At this point in its lifespan the Wii has how many games with review scores of 9 or above?  10?  The PS2 had at least twice that number.  Yeah, and I can still point out several of the better games on Wii that have still sold far fewer than a million copies.  Muramasa and Fragile not having sold over 100,000 copies in Japan.  Tales of Symphonia 2 being a bomb in the West, Madworld and No More Heroes selling less than 500,000 copies. 

Yet again not fact checking as the Wii sold 50 million units to retailers world wide around the time GDC happened, it was even in Nintendo's press conference.

I have no idea what sales and review scores have to do with a game coming out please try again.

And many of those highly rated games were sports titles that were the same game year after year which is why the "AAA" thing is fanboy sullshit, number of games with a diverse library that appeals to many different gamers would be a better gage as a game that hits the 5's and 6's can still appeal to many people and be very enjoyable.  I could bring up the fact again that not a single PS3 game has sold a million in Japan but that would just be a low blow :P
