Why don't you go and tell to all the PC gamers here that dislike dual analog controls that they are Wii Fanboys? Yeah as someone that's pretty damn good at all of them I can say it goes something like this, mouse + KB, Wii IR, dual analog, analog + digital, and dual digital/keyboard only.

Pretty much what is listed is progress, the bottom of the list is the oldest types and the top of the list is newer though, mouse and KB is kinda old, it just shows how long it's taken consoles to try to catch up.

I could with 100% certainty destroy the best W@W 360 players with Wii Remote IR, just put the best Wii IR users on a team vs the best 360 users on a team and it'll be no contest.  Thing is two of the best W@W players are here on the forums ;) (ECC being the other :P)
