Aligning launches and then comparing sales is nonsense. Don't you think Sony would have released in PAL regions before Christmas if they were able? Even releasing in only two regions before the end of 2006 they were claiming supply constraint and continued to do so for some months into 2007. By aligning launches Sony would not have been able to sell any more systems because they simply didn't have them to sell at that time.

Claiming handicaps is just lame. It is Sony's fault that the PS3 is relatively expensive, it's their fault launches weren't aligned and it's there fault it released after the 360. They are the facts of the story as it stands and we can't change, excuse or ignore them and can't make predictions or assumptions future sales based on manipulations of these facts.

Sony is ~8 million systems behind the 360 as of now and will continue to be in this position until such time as it starts significantly outselling the 360 for a prolonged period, something which it has entireldy failed to do in it's first ~2.5 years.
