Crazzy, I think a 349 PS3 would be a huge failure for Sony. It would give a MUCH smaller bump(than a 100 dollar pc), and it would also reduce the effect of next price drop. If Sony is only reducing the price by 50 bucks, they shouldn't reduce it at all. It would be a very poor business decision, so says GB, Pachter, and says I.
I think a 100 dollar price cut could save Sony, but a 50 dollar price cut could ruin them, this gen. Very poor marketing. Make price cuts count. Don't marginalize your own marketing.
