Hardcore and Casual has nothing to do with the games you play.
It's how much you play, and your general attitude towards gaming.
Person 1 owns 20 games on his console, plays often, posts on a gaming forum, and knows a fair bit about the industry.
Person 2 owns 5 games, plays for a couple of hours a week, rarely goes onto gaming websites. He doesn't know a lot about who is making his games.
Even if Person 1 owns Carnival Games, Wii Fit, Deca Sports and similar games, and Person 2 owns GTA4, CoD4, MGS4, Killzone 2 and Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, Person 1 is hardcore, Person 2 is casual.
That's what I think, anyway.
