I think that this summer is the right time, but for different reasons.

1st, Japan: This summer you see Wii Sports Resort and Monster Hunter 3. Between them, Wii should once again return to a commanding lead over PS3 week-to-week. Add that to a smaller push from Punch-Out!! and a larger push from WSR in the other regions, combined with the startling slump in sales from both PS3 and 360 (and the fact that nothing too big is scheduled for either this summer), and you have the perfect atmosphere for a Wii marketshare gain.

The only thing that could crush it would be a surprise PS3 price drop (or another 360 drop, but nobody's been agitating for one of those), or the introduction of that PS3 Slim. But it would have to occur this summer, specifically

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.
