Dont get me wrong, i think it would be good for xbox to have mgs, it is a quality game, i have it for my ps3, this is not the point im trying to make. If one should stop talking about one then should be talking about both. I read an interview with bioware stating that they would want the whole mass effect franchise on the 360 only, it almost sounded like a deal when they mentioned it. Granted that is not the same as the great kojima saying it, but as others have mentioned, ninja gaiden sigma. For all intense and purposes the same damn thing. What would stop Konami doing the same thing? The same arguments can be based for everygame. As soon as Tecmo? did that nothing is sacred, they pulled a dirtier move then sony regarding the ghostbusters launch (really bloody looking forward to this game, and especially now, no chance on getting it on ps3). I am pretty much just over the fact that everygame has to autommatically be multiplat, the love that cliff has for the 360 and he wants to basically marry it is the same as kojima seems to be about the mgs4 franchise. I agree in that point. I personally think if MS was to second party a team, it should be epic, they seem to have a great relationship, see PS3 Konami, same basis. They work well together, this xbox excl may very well have to do with what the "new kojima game" is, it may not, E3 will hold the aces off all suits, we just have to find out who holds them out of the consoles

They would want to. They have refused to flat out deny a PS3 version. The moment they do that, I'll be happy to accept that it isn't coming. Even now, I consider it unlikely, and I'm not holding my breath for it.
As for Sigma, that was only because Itagaki was a Sony hater, and he left. They saw potential for sales, so they made a game. Ninja Gaiden II didn't exactly sell brilliantly, while MGS4 did. And I don't see Kojima leaving any time soon.
Why not get Ghostbusters on PS3? Isn't that a benefit of having two HD consoles? You're not getting it because of what Sony did? I'm sure it'll be awesome (except the environment design
). Not sure if I'll get it.
Kojima's love of Sony wouldn't blind him, though. He doesn't really care about the sales, he just wants to make the best game possible. If he can do that while making a multiplat for MGS5, he might well go ahead and do it (plus pressure from Konami). But MGS4 is never going to be on 360. It took three years to develop, some $60 million, and shipped around 4.5 million. Kojima optimised it to be on the PS3, and he's not going to go through the whole process again for en extra 10 sales.
