Just because they gave MGS4 an 8? R2, KZ2 and LBP were all 9/10 from EuroGamer. They're actually, after IGN, my favourite reviewers.

Two reviews. I only start to mistrust a reviewer when they fuck up again and again and again. Just when I think I've forgiven them, they write another crappy review.

Examples: Edge, GameSpot, Variety.

Not everybody was going to love MGS4, and to be fair, they justified that 8/10 pretty well. I'll admit that 10/10 is way too high for Halo 3, but they were sucked into the buzz. That's 6 points above the average.

GameSpot mess ups: Tools of Destruction (7.5), Uncharted(8.0), Shadow of the Colossus(8.7), Wipeout HD(7.5), Halo Wars(6.5), MadWorld(7.5), Assassin's Creed(9.0) (too high), Populous: The Beginning(7.5)...the list goes on and on.

And don't get me started on Edge. In five seconds of thinking, Halo 3, Killzone 2, Resistance 2, Fallout 3, Resistance: Fall of Man, God of War II...poor excuse for a reviewer.
