Wii has plenty to look forward to in the near future.
The Conduit
Wii Sports Resort
Motion+ Sports games
Red Steel 2
Punch-Out!!
Sin & Punishment 2
Animales De La Muerte
At least two more games from High Voltage (one of which is an FPS)
Excitebots just came out
Monster Hunter
Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers
TMNT: Smash Up
Dead Space: Extraction
Resident Evil: Darkside Chronicles
Tons more
Keep in mind that we're still weeks from E3, and Nintendo's hinting at secret games and showing things to the press while making them sign NDAs. We have no idea what Nintendo themselves are working on (save what's in that list and Pikmin 3), Retro Studios, HAL Labs, and other internal devs will all have stuff to show. EA has apparently 50% of their workforce working on Wii games, and Ubisoft is doing pretty nicely in this regard, too.
All in all, there's nothing to worry about.
I consider Sin & Punishment, Punch-Out!!, and Excitebots to be examples of this 'bridge' strategy.
