If the PS3 Slim is legit and releases at $299 - What will it do for sales?

this wont hurt the 360 sales, because m$ will counter it and then the sales will be where they are now, with the 360 leading the hd consoles. also the ps3 wont win the holidays for sales, why? simple because it never has won a holiday yet, period. halo :odst will be a major reason the 360 wins the software wars this holiday. a $299 ps3 will help for sure, but if the ecomony is still bad, then it wont do what the ps fans want it too. i think if the arcade is $150 and the pro is $250 for the holidays then the battle will be in the favor of the 360. :)
