I think they know it both. Although I am not sure if the Xbox360 will be able to pull the complete EDD out of the red, but they were already on the right way, and now the are i9n a very good position to guarantee a successful position for the next round even if Sony would get on their nerves. Sony on the other hand knew that they had a probrlem back in 2004 but they had to do their best not to look like complete idiots. For an error recovery the PS-3 works quite well. But the big problem: What to do in the next version. They are no longer in a position to develop their own hardware. Switch to a normal multi core architecture and again fail to implement a backward capability or stay in a Cell like environment and accept that they will have severe problems to really compete with Nintendo and Microsoft.
