If there is a market for games, the games will be made. The only reason for anybody to stop making non-casual games is if non-casual gamers disappear. They spend lots of money on games, and people want that money.

Please name a single company that has stopped making hardcore games to make only casual games. Just one.

Nintendo.

Don't try and deny all its games haven't been dumbed down/casualised this gen.  Though to be fair it didn't start to happen this gen.

All?

Galaxy is the hardest 3-D Mario.

Metroid Prime 3 and Twilight Princess weren't dumbed down at all.

The new Punch-Out!! is going to be harder and longer than any Punch-Out!! before it with the defend your title mode and the challenges.

Sunshine was harder in Galaxy, I think most people would agree with that.  In Galaxy a lot of levels you cannot even fall to your death on anymore because the gravity thing kicks in and just turns you upside down or whatever.  I beat the game without dying once, never done that in any Mario before.

Nintendo didn't make MP3, Retro Studios did.  TP wasn't dumbed down because Zelda is one of the games I mentioned that didn't start that this gen, it was already.

Punch Out the verdict is out on and isn't for anyone to say how difficult it is yet, however the controls are very casual friendly.

Did you only list 3 games by thinking it was enough or because that is all you believe good examples?

So Sunshine is harder than Galaxy, Retro Studios is not an internal Nintendo developer, Twilight Princess doesn't count because it started before this generation (as opposed the other games, which Nintendo didn't start working on until September 2006...)and the reviewers are lying about Punch-Out!!

Don't forget to point out that Brawl is crappier than Mellee in every way, Mario Kart Wii is a dumbed down version of Double-Dash, Fire Emblem has new casual-friendly features, Wario Land something something, Super Paper Mario has too much talking, Super Sluggers can be played with just the Wiimote, WarioWare was so much better on the other systems,  Captain Rainbow has too many colors to be anything but casual, Disaster doesn't count because it's second-party, Excite Truck+Another Code+Fatal Frame+Excitebots+Batallion Wars+Marble Mania etc. are all third-party developed.

Am I missing anything? Anyhow, stupid Nintendo, always selling us hardcore gamers out, especially after all our loyalty to the cause. I remember the glory days of the Gamecube, when we didn't get easy, cartoony games like Wind Waker and Double-Dash and a new Mario Party each year and Kirby's Air Ride and...

There is nothing wrong with hating casual games, even though the fans of certain console try to bash people who hate that kind of games.

Y'know, I think the reason you keep getting banned isn't because you're an inflammatory troll, but because the mods just like looking at/near your avatar and seeing the words "banned" (for the record, you can count me in that club).

I suggest that you replace your current avatar with one that's just the words "Banned" in big red letters, just to test my theory.
