Honestly, were Nintendo games ever really that "HC" in the first place?
@OP: I can't really say that attaching powerful emotions to something is flat-out wrong, but hating games that don't cater to your tastes seems really stupid.
Besides, there will always be games for the enthusiast crowd even if they won't dominate the market, as people have already said.
