I believe that Microsoft could match a $100 PS3 price cut with a $50 price cut along all SKUs and still win Christmas, its just a theory I have about how the two consoles tend to sell.

 

 

 Impossible. If a $350 PS3 in 2009 gets matched by a $50 price cut on the X360, then X360 mite win the Holidays, but a $299 PS3 is no joke.

What about the $600 -> $400 price cut? The PS3 barely won, and Halo 3 isn't THAT big. But once the new year started, it was a completely different story.
