Not true. I am a HUGE Nintendo fanboy (but I couldn't live without Xbox 1) but seriously, PS3 do as badly as GameCube?
No way.
By the end of GameCube's second year, it had sold 12 million units WW.
PlayStation 3 is currently at just under 5 million, so if the current trend continues then PS3 will have sold 11 million by this time next year.
