@John Lucas - I forget the exact quote but it goes along these lines
Every great revelation goes through 3 stages
First it's ridiculed
Second it's violently opposed
Third it's accepted as obvious truth
The Wii is revolutionizing the industry, to the betterment of all. But there will always be that hardcore group, used to having it all to themselves, use to games developers, publishers and system makers catering (ever increasing over the last two generations) to them. Now that's slipping away, away from the hardcore to the more general public. In the end that will bring prosperity to the entire industry and better games for all. Including the hardcore. In time, they'll accept that as obvious truth too.
