That's why they call X360 a shooter box :D
Not only does the 360 have shooters that get mega sales but it also gets better sales in just about every genre compared to the PS3. I mean look at the numbers, you'll see the 360 typically gets better numbers in JRPG, WRPG, Racing, football, basketball, music games, kids games, etc. The only genre PS3 wins in a regular basis is Soccer.

The 360 does not really get beter numbers in jRPGs, the top selling jRPG in Japan is White Knight Chronicles, and none have been released outside of Japan on PS3. Racing games are generally about equal, but NfS Undercover and BP sold better on PS3. And no, PS3 wins at football, 360 wins with American football. Also the PS3 wins any game that is quite big in Japan. However, percent of owners buying any given game seems to be bigger on the PS3, like with Grand Theft Auto IV, Assassin's Creed (I should probably check that) and several others.

Regardless, 360 currently has the better numbers in JRPG sales. Lack of confidence to bring some of the PS3 games out of Japan isn't my concern. I don't care about who wins what region, world wide sales matters the most in the long run.

NFS Undercover and BP only had about equal sales. But don't forget Dirt, Grid, Pure, and NFS PS all sold better on the 360. Also Forza 2 and PGR4 may have affected some of those games from selling better.

As I mentioned already... Soccer sells better on the PS3 and Football sells better on the 360.

It isn't really lack of confidence, more lack of jRPGs in general due to M$, so I would not really look at jRPGs until we get Final Fantasy XIII. Yeah I take your point about racers, but the more recent ones have sold better on PS3 because they are much more focused on Europe, so it will be interesting to see what happens with their sales in the future with the Xbox doing much better in Europe this year

Well, the sport that sells better on PS3 involves kicking a ball with your foot, and the sport that sells better on the Xbox involves throwing an egg...
