Why keep Disney characters? Nintendo characters will already boost the sales.

Because a large part of the point of the KH series is in the interaction between the Disney characters and the Square characters: Leon buying Gepetto a house in town, Cloud hiring himself out as a mercenary to Hades, Ariel sending Sora into a fit of hormonal apoplexy, and so forth.

Besides, I think Disney would get mad. Technically, they have most of the IP rights, including to all of the characters made for the series: Sora, Kairi, Riku, and so on. Without those, there is no KH, and they wouldn't let the KH original cast into the game unless the rest of Disney got in too.

And I really hope Pixar never gets in. KH is about a particular Disney aesthetic that the Pixar movies simply do not fit. This is not to insult the Pixar movies, but they just don't belong in this particular setting.

Complexity is not depth. Machismo is not maturity. Obsession is not dedication. Tedium is not challenge. Support gaming: support the Wii.

What do I hate about modern gaming? I hate tedium replacing challenge, complexity replacing depth, and domination replacing entertainment. I hate the outsourcing of mechanics to physics textbooks, art direction to photocopiers, and story to cheap Hollywood screenwriters. I hate the confusion of obsession with dedication, style with substance, new with gimmicky, old with obsolete, new with evolutionary, and old with time-tested.
There is much to hate about modern gaming. That is why I support the Wii.
