Still not as good as free demos.
I would be much more likely to buy a game if I had a chance to play the demo. People may be turned off from a game because of the demo, but then again, they may decide to make a purchase.
The demos aren't hurting 360 software sales, so Nintendo's conservatism may be hurting more than helping.
