I did odd jobs for people at a young age, but my first real job was when I was 15/16. I worked in a metal shop making hand rails. The best part was when we did state jobs because by contract we had to get paid $30/hour.
However, that was a summer only job and I worked on/off since then, and I didn't start working throughout the year until I was 21.
