yea HDs are a problem, my original macbook pro had a fan falure while it was nedering on a stand, i heard this good awful noise, when i came back from lunch touched it and burned myself, when i checked the heat sensors (im aslo a mac tech have all the cool diagnostic softwares) it was running at 320f for the cpus... considering safe operational temp ends at 185f..... something i miss from the powerpc chips, thermal runaway mode, automaticaly starts a shutdown sequence if your cpu excedes 20% of safe operating temp. oh well swaped out for a new mac, gotta love the apple care.

also where i live happens to be one of the cheapest places to buy power in the usa, thanks to TVA, mainly power through hydro, and nuke, a few coal, we have 2 powerplants around here that have never even gone online, though they are considering it to help shift power further north through some sort of grid shift.... i didnt understand the whole thing
