threads that are in the wrong topic are easy to identify and deal with. It is black and white.
Threads that are borderline trolling are a totally different issue. Do you take action and make everyone mad that the mods are too strict? or do you not take action and make everyone mad because you didn't do anything? I've checked out the thread, and I haven't read the entire thing, but the posts I have read were all reasonable and not out of hand, so I said I'd wait to see what happens.
